Seven-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, his trainer Freddie Roach, and former world welterweight champion and current #1 contender Joshua Clottey, along with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum, hosted a news conference today at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas to officially announce the March 13 Pacquiao vs. Clottey pay-per-view event. Clottey stated “I have never been in a stadium like this. I like Manny, he’s my favorite fighter. It’s going to be a great fight.” He added that he will be hiring a new conditioning coach to help get ready. After thanking the organizers, Pacquiao stated “I feel like a football player. Please come March 13. It will be a good fight. Clottey is a tough fighter, but I will do my best to make people happy. MC Michael Buffer called today’s presser “the most amazing press conference I’ve seen in 28 years.”
