On Wednesday, Pacquiao told reporters that he is still hopeful the fight will happen.Pacquiao who will be defending his title against Joshua Clottey on March 13th, told the media that he thinks the fight will still happen, stating: "I believe the fight will happen some other time. It will happen."
In regards to the blood testing issues that side-railed the fight with Mayweather Jr., Pacquiao stated that testing too close to the night of the fight could break up his training as well as leave him in a weaker state. Pacquiao who was willing to meet Mayweather halfway on the drug testing demands, went on to state: "I'm honest, and a clean fighter."
